PowerPoint Creative Rules

In addition to the rules above, here are specifics to our community:

1) You must wait 7 days before being able to post any external links. I know, not cool, but it helps ward off the spammers. In the meantime, you can introduce yourself in the Welcome Wagon, check out and comment on other creator's works in the forum, join in the fun with some forum games, or chat with other creators like yourself. We do hope that you'll be able to stay and share your work with us in a week!

Edit: The 7 day waiting period has been lifted to help boost forum activity. However, the first instance of blatant spamming will result in the reinstatement of the 7-day ban.

2) This forum has members of all different skill levels and all ages. Please be respectful to the other members if they are not as skilled as you or other members, and they will be respectful back to you. Use this opportunity to help them grow their skill set by showing them some tips or techniques that can help make their works even better.

3) Private Messaging function will be turned on once you have reached the status of Aspiring PPT Creator. (After making 5 posts or replies in the forum.)

4) Everyone starts off with a reputation of 3. Reputation is a visual of how well received your posting habits are with the rest of the forum. If you make great posts or replies that contribute greatly to our community, then other creators will click the green Thumbs Up button and give you a Reputation point. Likewise, if you spam or post meaningless content to increase your post count, then chances are someone will click the red Thumbs Down button which will reduce your Reputation point by 1. You will be able to place your vote for other Reputation when you have reached the status of Aspiring PPT Creator.

5) Have fun! I know that sounds like a no-brainer, but seriously, do it! If you're not having fun sharing your games or checking out other's work, then you're not doing it right. We want to make sure that all our members are enjoying their time here, being creative is FUN!

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please post them in the PPC Feedback forum. Thanks again for joining PPC and we'll see you in the forum!
