Isolation!

on Mon Aug 28, 2017 12:03 am
Message reputation : 100% (1 vote)
Name: Isolation
Players: 2
Goal: To trap your opponent from moving before they trap you.
How to Play: Taking turns is a two-step process. Step 1: Remove a tile. Step 2: Move your pawn one space in any direction. Completing both steps in order is one turn, and your opponent takes their turn. Play continues until a pawn is trapped. Arrows will indicate where you can move your pawn. Pop-up messages will let you know if you haven't removed your tile yet, or if you need to move your pawn.

Wow!  That's actually a REALLY WELL MADE GAME!  From my personally visually impaired perspective, it could use a little sharper colour contrast, but the controls and alerts are rock solid; not a single glitch in sight!  Great work!

Thank you JadeJohnsonGames!

How would you suggest I can improve the contrast? Should I lighten or desaturate the tiles?

The tiles themselves look great!  It would be nice if you made the gridlines between them a bit thicker though.  If you would be willing to make the tiles a little darker though, try to make there be a large amount of contrast between those and the white "Magnified System Scheme" mouse cursor.

Thanks for asking.  I'm always glad to help when it comes to accessibility.  I may or may not just so happen to be a pro at making games accessible, as you will both see and hear once GSFII and JayBowl come out.  Anything you need in that area - don't be afraid to ask.

Very Happy

OMG Your game disposed me to learn VBA!

Is there any original game or you created all? (I can't sure whether it's right expression or not.)

I do plan on having VBA tutorials on here in the near future. The first one is already up!
