'Intersect' difference in PPT 2016 to 2010

on Thu Sep 07, 2017 5:02 pm
A picture of a slide showing 2016 / 2010 differences in the use of ''Intersect shapes'.

Does anyone have any knowledge of how to get 2010 to intersect picture-filled shapes the same way that 2016 can intersect pictures and shapes?

I thought this might work but...I got the same effect as filling the shape with a picture.

I did however work out a reasonably quick way to do it though by using a shape template and manually cropping to it.

I've posted it a screenshot of how to do it in the Jigsaw Shapes topic under PCC Tutorials.
